OPENING NIGHT SET FOR APRIL 4TH Wheeling versus Jacksonville in the NAL Kickoff Classic

The West Virginia Roughriders will be opening their season at home versus the Jacksonville Sharks on Saturday April 4th in the inaugural NAL Kickoff Classic.

The West Virginia Roughriders are coming off their inaugural season in Wheeling, finishing the season 13-0 and winning the American Arena League Championship. They joined the NAL in November and will be competing with the Carolina Cobras, Columbus Lions, NAL Champion Jacksonville Sharks, Massachusetts Pirates, New Jersey Flight and Orlando Predators.

The Jacksonville Sharks are the defending NAL Champions defeating the Carolina Cobras in the Championship game!

“Opening night will give us a chance to show off our city and our fans!” said Marty Medovic the Roughriders Front Office General Manager. “We have a lot planned for that night which includes raising our championship banner” he went on to say.

Roughriders season tickets are currently on sale at the WesBanco box office and online at wesbancoarena.com. The organization is also offering 3 game ticket plans with single game tickets going on sale later this month.

The National Arena League was founded in 2016 and hosted its inaugural season in 2017 as the premier league in arena football.
